In January of 2000, as the world was preparing for Y2K, Dr. Sampson was preparing to move his family from Northwest Indiana to join the pastoral staff of Parkway Baptist in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Several years later, in October of 2003, the church awarded him the position of lead pastor, and the Lord placed Dr. Sampson as the new Senior Pastor of Parkway Baptist. Over the past two decades, Dr. Sampson has led Parkway Baptist to be "On Mission with God" both locally and globally. He has shown a deep commitment to addressing the needs of the church and the wider community. His contributions extend beyond pastoral duties, as he has made his mark in the literary and music fields. Dr. Sampson is the author of four books and has composed several published songs.
Dr. Sampson earned a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Pastoral Theology, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty University, which is located in Lynchburg, VA. Additionally, he obtained a Doctorate in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, located in Camilla, GA.
Dr. Sampson has been married to the love of his life, Melissa, since August 17, 1991. God has blessed them with three beautiful children and has added the blessing of grandchildren to their lives.
